1. About cookies

1.1 A cookie is a small file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser asking permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. The file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

1.2 Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

1.3 Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

2. Cookies that we use

2.1 We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our services in order to tailor them to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system. Targeting or advertising cookies – these cookies are used to deliver content relevant to you. They also limit the number of times that you see an ad and help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

2.2 Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better experience, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

2.3 You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of our services.

2.4 We may use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our Website. Google Analytics gathers information about Website use by means of cookies. The information gathered relating to our Website is used to create reports about the use of our Website.
